The Study India Program (SIP) offered by the Symbiosis Centre for International Education under the aegis of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is an intensive, tailor-made, three weeks program which offers the students an unparalleled opportunity to combine academics with cultural immersion activities. The SIP consists of bespoke short-duration courses in Management, Economics, Law, Design, Engineering, IT & Technology, Media, Humanities, Health, Communication Skills and Liberal Arts. Along with the academic modules, This program includes industry visits, cultural trips showcasing the fascinating world of India’s rich and diverse cultural heritage, workshops on various arts etc. The underlying element of a ‘cultural thrill’ remains pronounced during the promotion and execution of this program.
Content and Visits
1. Academic Content:
Facilitates understanding of the political make-up of India, the financial systems, the emerging markets, large and small scale industries, public and private partnerships, and social and administrative structures etc.
2. Cultural Content:
Helps the participants to be rich in experience through exposure to Indian mythology and Indian History, Indian films, Indian arts and handicrafts, appreciation of Indian dance and music, appreciation of Indian cuisine, Indian languages and age-old Indian traditions.
3. Industrial Visits:
Organized at different companies and industries etc. to allow the participants to gain a practical first hand experience of all that is introduced and taught in the academic modules.
4. Cultural Visits:
Include visits to Indian villages as well as cultural heritage sites of India. This gives the students an opportunity to experience real Indian life and also appreciate the rich and varied culture of India.
The assessment of the participants’ performance in such programs is the responsibility of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Students who successfully complete the Study India Program are awarded a certificate. We have successfully organised SIPs for students from Japan, UK, Singapore among others.

The SIP consists of specific short duration courses in Management, Economics, Law, Design, Engineering, IT & Technology, Media, Humanities, Health, Communication Skills and Liberal Arts. The program also includes cultural and industrial visits. We have received students from countries all over the world like Japan, Singapore to name a few.
Customized SIP is an option provided by SCIE which caters to specific subject/field as per their universities’ requirements.
