Visiting Scholars

This is an initiative to invite and engage with distinguished academicians, researchers, scholars and experts from various domains. Scholars can work with any constituent institute or research centre of SIU for a short-term period (1 to 3 weeks) to teach courses in their area of expertise to foster multiculturalism, diversity and academic excellence. They can also engage in research collaboration discussions, conduct faculty development programs, and seminars, and workshops. The program facilitates SIU faculty members to share their best academic practices, develop in-house global competencies and build academic associations with international universities.
